Another Great day!

Please get into the habit of checking my blog to see what we did during the day and what to do for homework.
Today we took our first enfoque on the information found in the welcome letter and the Cornell notes.

We also took notes on the translations of our supply list.   Please make sure to bring in your supplies tomorrow.

Apuntes

• Organizer Organizador
• Red Pen for correcting- Pluma Roja
• Binder or Section in Binder for Spanish with three separate sections        (labeled Tarea, Apuntes,Exámenes/Pruebas) Carpeta de argullas
• Index cards for Flashcards -only current vocab list must be in backpack tarjetas
• High Lighter subrayador
• white board marker and something to erase could be an old sock that doesn't have a mate plumon para el tablero blanco y borrador
• thin markers (set of eight ) for color coding verb conjugation activities. plumones o marcadores o rotuladores

Again thank you to all the parents who donated to the world language fund and to the supplies you generously donated off our class wish list.  We are very grateful for you and all the support you give the students.

Homework for today is simply to practice the supply vocabulary and to bring in your supplies to class.

GRATITUDE
Thank you so much to the parents that donated to our world language fund for the purchase of workbooks and other materials for our class.  I am also very grateful for the donations of markers, wipes and pens.  It is very appreciated and it will be greatly needed by your students. Have a wonderful weekend.

REMINDER

1. Another reminder that MONDAY is the last day for a stamp on your homework calendar for having a parent signature on your welcome letter.  You may still bring in donations.  
2. Also Please make sure to have all your supplies by Tuesday you will recieve a stamp for having that on Tuesday.
3. I encourage you to go through your binder and make sure you have a tab for spanish and you have three sections labeled Apuntes, Tarea and Examenes.  Make sure you have your welcome letter and your Cornell notes paper in your Spanish section.  You will need both for your enfoque this Monday.

Day two finished and what a great day ! I learned many new things about you and look forward to the rest of you presenting your partners to the class.  Please continue to share the welcome letter with your parents and get their signature also continue to gather your supplies for class , I will be checking them on Tuesday of next week.

Homework for tonight is to finish your name tag.  Please include many details using words or pictures that help illustrate who you are and the things you like!  Make it clear, colorful, and your best effort.  Have a wonderful evening looking forward to another great day. Blessings :)

Continue to gather supplies for this class - Supply check will be on Tuesday.
Read the welcome letter over with your parents and them sign it and IF your family is able to offer a class donation please make checks payable to Hart Middle School for $23.00.  Thank you so much for your support.

You have until Monday 8/31/2015 to get the signature in for credit.

I'm so happy you will be in my class and look forward to a wonderful year.  In this Blog - you will find the homework, tips for success, grammar and vocab videos  , reminders and peeks into the classroom as we work each day.  Tomorrow I will guide you through the class welcome letter you can find it here under the syllabus tab. Your first homework assignment will be to share it with your parents and have them sign it.  If you can print it on your own that would be wonderful if not I will have a hard copy for you.  Have a wonderful day I look so forward to meeting all of you tomorrow!
