Hello Everyone!

I hope you have all had a great week off.  I am looking forward to this week , your skits, the field trip and also beginning the new chapter.

For your skits remember to use 25 vocabulary words from chapter 5B - you will need it to be at least 5 minutes long - and have at lest 5 props.  5 plates equals 1 prop! Everyone bring in your own script. Make sure it is neatly written and you have highlighted the 25 words.


Reviewing for 5B test - you will be finishing up tomorrow.  If you would like to practice Ser and Estar to review for the 5B test here is a senor jordan video !

Adopt a family - please consider just one dollar to donate to a needy family.  Last day for donations will be Monday December 7th because we will be shopping for our families Monday afternoon.

Each student must turn in a script to Mrs. Severo , I will write your score on your copy and return it to you.  You may bring up your script but must show you are prepared and know the skit and are fluid.  I will know you are not prepared if you read your script as if you have never seen it before.

5B Restaurant Skits

Dramitas - Un Restaurante

You will be performing your skits on Tuesday December 1st

Each of you will be in new groups of four today

1. Your goal is to create a restaurant skit incorporating the vocabulary from this chapter.

( p.90).

• Order beverage, meal and dessert
• use tener expressions
• find a way to creatively add description
• communicate reason you are at the restaurant celebrating
• communicate relationships - in the group ( Es mi hermana, esposo, primo)
• greeting and salutations

2. You must have a written script - everyone should have equal lines( or very close) and a copy.
3. You must have a poster that advertises your Restaurant

• Create a name and a slogan in Spanish about your Restaurant

4. Create a  menu

• bebidas, desayuno, almuerzo, cena, postres much be included in your menu

Both menu and poster advertising your restaurant can be done on computer paper and we will project it during your skit.- so it’s Giante.
