  1. It's amazing how in Europe, one week's worth of food would be $400+, whereas in India food only costs $39 for a good amount of groceries that would probably cost over $100, but again, it all matters on the economy and the seller's drive to be rich.

  2. I found it really weird how some people with smaller families pay a lot more then people with larger families; I also just realized how much people eat, and how much they spend on it as well..

  3. I'm surprised at how much higher European living standard is compared to the rest of the world. Countries such as Norway or France spend upwards of $500 per week, while countries such as Chad spending less than $5. While the difference is staggering, I think it has to do with how much money the people make or have and how much shops are willing to sell their food.

  6. From Samantha Do 7th period

Why are the same foods more expensive in other places? Is it because of availability?

I think it is very jaw-dropping that some meals were actually above 200 dollars! I expected for food costs to be about 100 dollars.

1 dollar a week for meals is crazy because it is so cheap but a family still is able to be fed.
